Brief Description: The NEFEC FDLRS Administration Project intends to procure Vyond Studio, a cloud-based animation and video creation platform. Vyond will be used to develop accessible, high-quality animated materials for professional learning, family engagement, and informational purposes. This platform supports educators, families, and stakeholders by meeting accessibility and communication requirements. Estimated Value: $34,629 Term (Years): 3 Years with Two (2) One-Year Renewal Options Vendor: GoAnimate, Inc. (d/b/a Vyond) Justification: Vyond Studio is a proprietary animation platform developed and distributed exclusively by GoAnimate, Inc. The FDLRS Administration Project uses Vyond to create professional-quality animated training and communication resources through a single integrated platform with customizable templates, animation tools, voiceover, captioning, and accessibility features. The department maintains a library of content and templates within Vyond that cannot be transferred to other systems without significant disruption. Market research identified alternative products, but none matched Vyond’s combination of functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and integrated animation capabilities. Therefore, Vyond is considered the only source able to provide the required software and continuity of service.
