Child Protective Services - Fatherhood Engagement

The County of Sacramento Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services (DCFAS) is seeking Determinations of Interest (DOI) and Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from qualified organizations interested in implementing a Fatherhood Engagement model. The model seeks to increase the inclusion and participation of both fathers and the paternal family members when coming to the attention of CPS. The model places an emphasis on underserved and overrepresented populations including Black and Indigenous (Native American) fathers, however, it is inclusive and open to serve all backgrounds. Model funding is up to $250,000 for a 2-year period. Services will include but are not limited to, outreach and engagement, advocacy, mentoring and modeling, co-parenting skills/tools, economic stability supports, and both group and individual one-on one support.
