Description
The City of Hollywood, Florida ("City") is seeking responses from qualified and experienced firms, hereinafter referred to as the Respondent, Contractor, Vendor, Proposer, etc. to purchase City-owned property and develop affordable housing (See Section 3.1, Property Descriptions), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Values in the past two years for improved residential have increased between 15 and 20% and values are continuing to improve, however, are slowing due to increasing interest rates. The City envisions the sites playing host to the development of affordable housing that will benefit Hollywood residents and employers and employees, increase spending, and help grow the City’s tax base. Proposals will be evaluated by a Selection Committee based on weighted factors including, but not limited to, creation of high-quality affordable housing, market demand, and the economic/financial net benefit to the City.
