Donation of City Owned Property for Affordable Housing

The City of New Smyrna Beach (herein after, “City”) has issued this Request for Proposals (hereinafter, “RFP”) for 'Project ID 'Project Title , with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified 501(c)3 not profit organizations and/or a community trust regsitered in the State of Florida to be considered as recipient of donated city owned property for affordable housing. This solicitation shall be in accordance with Florida Statutes and must comply with Florida Statute 163.380(3)(a) as the subject properties are located within a community redevelopment area. A proposal, if approved by the CRA Board and City Commission, shall be in accordance with the negotiated terms and conditions set forth in an agreement between the City and the successful proposer. The city may accept such proposal as it deems to be in the public interest and in furtherance of the purposes of the Community Redevelopment Act of 1969.
