Vendor needs to provide development and modernization services to the government authority located in Cambridge, MA. – Assist in prioritizing development opportunities– Identify opportunities for acquisition or new construction of affordable housing– Assess available development and funding opportunities– Prepare and implement development strategies– Provide financial modelling– Prepare mixed finance applications for HUD public housing development– Seek to leverage agency’s resources and outcomes– Assist with neighbourhood or community process– Review and analyse state and federal affordable housing policy– Assist in securing needed due diligence (e.g. site survey, market study, etc.)– Assist in relocation and construction phasing planning– Provide project management support related to implementation of development, redevelopment and modernization opportunities– Review of development or financing plans– Provide training to agency staff in affordable housing topics or areas– Prepare template documents for agency staff use for development and modernization activities– Other development and modernization assistance activities as required by agency.
