Virtual Psychoeducational Assessment Evaluations

The Jersey City Public School District’s Special Education Department is seeking proposals from an outside agency to provide testing services in the area of psychoeducational and learning assessment evaluations as well providing Orton Gilligham based literacy services virtually for students either with current Individualized Educational Plans [I.E.P.] or those students who are in the process of being referred. These services are to be conducted by a School Psychologist, and who is approved by the State of New Jersey to provide these services as requested by the child study team. The teacher must be an Orton Gillingham Certified teacher as well as possess a New Jersey teaching certification as approved by the state. The District is the second largest school district in the State of New Jersey and comprises forty-one schools. This district has historically hired full time personnel to provide this service but due to the demands for services additional personnel will be required.
