Description
The City of Pasadena Public Works Department, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is seeking to establish a contract for the as-needed purchase and delivery of emergency vehicle lighting equipment and related components for vehicles operated by the Pasadena Police Department and Pasadena Fire Department. Emergency lighting systems are critical for public safety vehicles to improve visibility during emergency response, incident management, and other public safety operations. The resulting contract will allow the City to purchase lighting equipment, replacement components, and related accessories necessary to maintain existing and new emergency vehicle lighting systems. The City has standardized on lighting equipment manufactured by Whelen Engineering for its emergency vehicles. The City intends to establish a five (5) year contract for the purchase of Whelen lighting equipment necessary to maintain existing lighting systems and outfit newly assigned vehicles.
