E-ONE Emergency Vehicles, Specialty Vehicles, Ancillary Equipment and Service

Sarasota County intends to award a sole source procurement with Matheny Motor Truck Co. DBA Matheny Fire & Emergency for a period of three years for the purchase E-ONE emergency vehicles, such as fire engines, pumpers, aerial ladders, heavy rescue vehicles, brush trucks and any other specialty vehicle produced by E-ONE for fire rescue purposes. Purchases will also include service of and purchase of fire rescue and emergency ancillary equipment for use on any of the emergency vehicles. In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.
