Marketing, Branding, and Public Relations Services

The City of Pasadena’s Economic Development Division (EDD) is seeking a consultant to help strengthen its relationship with targeted local, regional, and national audiences. The overarching goal is to position Pasadena as a prime location to dine, work, and do business. The Consultant will design, develop, and implement an effective marketing, branding, and public relations (PR) plan that aligns and helps meet the goals outlined in the City’s EDD 2024 strategic plan (not currently public). An important goal of the division’s strategic plan is to develop a robust marketing campaign on behalf of the life science and “deep tech” industries. The Consultant services will include a rebrand of the division’s current marketing materials, and the creation of new brochures, social media templates and posts, a content calendar, PR, outreach, and overall communications.
