Description
Yuba County is looking for professional services to conduct online and/or on-site advertisement and sale of unclaimed property at auction on an as-needed basis. Unclaimed property can be defined as tangible items that do not belong to the County and have become dormant, unwanted or refused. Such items include, but not limited to “lost and found property, personal property held for safekeeping, property which has been forfeited pursuant to court order, allegedly stolen or embezzled property which has not been claimed by its true owner, and property which has been seized pursuant to a search warrant,” (Yuba County Ordinance 2.50.170(d)).
