Such services include, but are not limited to: civil engineering and compliance support services, including:</p><ul><li><strong>Feasibility Studies</strong>: Assessing the viability of proposed projects.</li><li><strong>Preliminary Design Reports</strong>: Creating initial design concepts and recommendations.</li><li><strong>Construction Plans and Specifications</strong>: Preparing detailed plans and specifications for construction projects.</li><li><strong>Cost Estimation</strong>: Providing construction costs and budget planning.</li><li><strong>Project Management</strong>: Overseeing project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and staff augmentation for special inspection services.</li><li><strong>Construction Management </strong><strong>and Special Inspections: </strong>Provide construction administration services including submittal review, Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Clarification (RFC) responses, and staff augmentation for special inspection services.</li><li><strong>Surveying and Mapping</strong>: Conducting land surveys and creating maps for project planning.</li><li><strong>Environmental Permitting and Assessments</strong>: Evaluating environmental impacts and compliance.</li><li><strong>Geotechnical Engineering</strong>: Analyzing soil and rock conditions for foundation design.</li><li><strong>Structural Engineering</strong>: Designing and analyzing structural components.</li><li><strong>Transportation Engineering</strong>: Planning and designing transportation infrastructure.</li><li><strong>Water Resources Engineering</strong>: Managing water supply, drainage, and flood control systems.</li><li><strong>Quality Assurance/Quality Control</strong>: Ensuring that projects meet specified standards and requirements.</li><li><strong>Public Outreach and Engagement</strong>: Facilitating communication with stakeholders and the public.</li><li><strong>Grant Support: </strong>Identifying grant funding opportunities for all stages of projects and providing application and reporting support</li><li><strong>Water Quality and Compliance Support:</strong> Monitoring, reporting, permit support for compliance</li></ul><p>At least five (5) years of experience providing similar services for a variety of projects that range in magnitude and scope, as is characteristic of on-call contracts, is required to oversee the work, stamp, and sign all project-related engineering documents as required for city-owned facilities and infrastructure projects. Proposers are encouraged to focus on their areas of strength and are not required to team with a large number of sub-consultants to cover all potential types of projects.</p>",
