Description of Intended Products or Services Provided: We aim to monitor the vehicle speed in the Bayshore MSTU / CRA. Traffic Ops has Driver Feedback radar signs that collect motorists' speed and volume data. Speed feedback signs are an effective method for reducing the speed of motorists at a desired location. These signs use a cloud-based reporting system for programming, monitoring, data storage, and report generators for these assemblies. This service allows staff to monitor and program the system remotely instead of being required to program/download the data from each unit. Our public purpose is to maintain traffic operations. The Bayshore CRA / MSTU will install 6 units within the overlay district. The units should be the same as what already exists throughout the county.
