Temporary Outdoor Shelters

General work description: The County seeks to partner with qualified Manufacturers and Contractors who share our values and will work collaboratively with the County and other agencies to provide temporary structures for outdoor shelters known as Safe Stay Communities. Proposers will be manufacturers or providers of temporary Sleeping Units, such as Tiny Houses or other temporary shelters. The County wishes to purchase such units on an as-needed basis in coordination with efforts to increase sheltering options and stability for the unhoused. The County is looking to purchase approximately 200 to 400 shelters, on an as needed basis, to be delivered and assembled at multiple sites within the unincorporated portion of Sacramento County. The smallest communities would number 40 shelters and the largest communities would number 100 shelters. A minimum order can not be guaranteed.
