We explicitly welcome and encourage multi-gigabit and high-capacity enterprise proposals (including but not limited to 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 10 Gbps, 40 Gbps, and 100 Gbps+ symmetrical circuits). Wellspring Community School seeks bids for Internal Connections to replace an obsolete 25-year-old internal cabling and legacy network hardware infrastructure. Due to heavy structural interference from thick concrete stucco walls with steel reinforcement, we require a robust internal backbone. We request the installation of up to 300 feet (as necessary upon measurement) of modern high-speed structured cabling (Cat6A or single-mode fiber) from the ISP demarcation point directly to the school workstation area, including all terminations, wall plates, and testing. We also seek one (1) high-capacity router/gateway capable of supporting multi-gigabit throughput at the demarcation point, and one (1) local Wireless Access Point (WAP) to be installed at the terminating end of the new cable run to provide high-strength local wireless connectivity within the school workspace. Installation, activation, and initial configuration must be included for all components. SPI billing is preferred. Vendors may propose equivalent or functionally comparable solutions that meet or exceed the performance requirements described above.
