Housing Study

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to furnish/provide a comprehensive housing study. The desired outcome of the project is twofold: A comprehensive housing study that include both a snapshot of existing inventory and community demographics, as well as a gap analysis of estimated demand compared to existing housing inventory and anticipated new units. The development of recommendations that includes a detailed strategy for meeting short and long-range housing goals and for meeting needs identified in the gap analysis.
