Description
Pasadena Water & Power (PWP) is replacing the Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG), existing CAISO meters at the Glenarm Power Plant, and the existing CAISO meters at the TM Goodrich Receiving Station in the City of Pasadena. The scope of work in this document is limited to replacement of the existing RIG at the Glenarm Dispatching Station and adding the Glenarm BESS project as a new resource to the RIG. The scope of work includes testing and commissioning support as required to result in a certified CAISO RIG. The contractor shall furnish and install the new RIG equipment in the existing Glenarm Dispatching Station Communications Room and add the Glenarm BESS project as a new resource to the RIG. Services shall include updating existing drawings and preparing new schematics and wiring diagrams, programming the new RIG, plus all on-site testing and Certification work. Contractor shall be responsible for preparing all CAISO deliverables required to result in a complete, certified RIG installation. PWP will provide the coordination and communications with CAISO for RIG outages as required for the RIG replacement work. For the new BESS installation, PWP shall coordinate with CAISO for the New Resource. The Contractor shall coordinate as required with a Metering Contractor that will be furnishing and installing the new CAISO revenue meters. The Metering Contractor will support the Contractor as needed to perform internal point to point testing of all telemetering points from the meters to the new RIG as well as provide support during RIG Acceptance Testing with CAISO. At the completion of the project, the Contractor shall provide to PWP the as-built drawings of RIG schematics and wiring diagrams for all equipment that was installed by them. Contractor to provide final drawings in AutoCAD dwg format.
