Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation for the procurement of an integrated public safety data system for use by the regional Emergency Communications Center (ECC), Albemarle County Police Department (ACPD), Albemarle County Fire Department (ACFD), Albemarle County Regional Jail (ACRJ), City of Charlottesville Police Department (CPD), City of Charlottesville Fire Department (CFD), University of Virginia Police (UPD) and Charlottesville Area Rescue Squad (CARS), collectively, the “Region.” In addition, the Region expects the contract to include the implementation and support, site preparation, project management, training and other services described in the RFP.
