2024 Access Control Systems Design & Engineering Services

The Department of Public Works is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide design and engineering services to replace the County's existing access control system with a new centralized, open-architecture electronic access control system at 40+ County locations (See Attachments for Existing Equipment and Inventory Counts). Services provided by the selected firm shall also include: survey, documentation, schematic and design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction support for the project. Services shall be inclusive of labor, materials, equipment, management, coordination, travel , and other requirements for complete and thorough work. The project will consist of 2 Phases: Phase 1 - Design & Engineering Services Investigation and review of the County's existing sites, systems and equipment, Stakeholder coordination & data gathering 50% Schematic / Construction Design Documents 95% Construction Design Development Documents Contract Documents submission, Obtain final approval from Building Department and local Fire Authority.
