Request for Qualifications for Update to the Town of Mooresville Land Development Design Standards Manual

The Town of Mooresville (Town) is requesting a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from experienced professional consulting firms to complete a comprehensive update of the Town’s Land Development Design Standards Manual (LDS). The Town is seeking firms that are experienced and knowledgeable regarding engineering design of roadways and pedestrian facilities, sanitary sewer systems, potable water systems, stormwater drainage systems, stormwater control measures, as well as construction means and methods for each of these categories. Furthermore, the Town is seeking firms that are knowledgeable regarding current state and federal statutes and regulations and industry technical standards manuals including but not limited to: - Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - Public Right-of-way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) - North Carolina Administrative Code (NCAC) - Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) - American National Standards Institute (ANSI) - American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) - American Water Works Association (AWWA) - North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) standards, specifications, and design manuals - North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) Division of Water Quality regulations Upon notification of selection, the most qualified firm will immediately submit pricing proposal for this project. The solicitation and selection of these services shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable State guidelines and requirements and the Town’s terms and standards.
