SCB Denitrification Filter Rehabilitation and SCB Dewatering Improvements

Denitrification Filter Rehabilitation: The purpose of this project is to provide a complete rehab of the denitrification filters. Work includes replacement of all filter media, removal of the existing process valve actuators and replacement with electric actuators; improvements to the methanol chemical feed system, chemical analyzer improvements, influent and effluent flowmeter improvements, mudwell flow control improvements, and denitrification filter underdrain rehabilitation. Instrumentation and control, SCADA, and HMI improvements are also supplemental to the work. Dewatering Facility Improvements: The purpose of this project is to replace the dry polymer system that supports the dewatering process. Work includes replacement of the transfer and feed pump system and piping and relocating this equipment to a higher elevation to improve resilience. Replacement of the electrical system main panels, switch boards, and motor control centers. HVAC improvements, and demolition of unused equipment will also be completed with this work. New equipment will be housed in a newly constructed 3-story building.
