RFP/Q026-20 City Facilities Needs Assessment

The City of Meriden seeks Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from architectural and/or engineering firms licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut to perform a facility needs assessment on numerous City buildings. The purpose of the project is to ascertain the present condition of these buildings and develop a 15-year, long-range plan to address deficiencies. The selected firm will conduct a detailed condition assessment and perform a capital renewal analysis of the facilities and recommend a facility management web-based system for use by the City’s facilities and management personnel. The program software should effectively systematize maintenance and use facility condition and cost data to facilitate capital reinvestment planning and integration of physical assets. The awarded firm will be contracted to continue assessments in years 2027 and 2028 depending upon fund availability.
