Description
Washington County Facilities and Parks Services is seeking bids for the replacement and upgrade to the Washington County Juvenile Shelter known as Harkin's House located at 244 W Main Street in Hillsboro, OR. The existing HVAC equipment is aging, at the end of its useful life, and undersized for current summer and winter peak temperatures. Washington County would like to replace the existing air handling unit (AHU). In addition, Washington County would like to upgrade the indoor air quality to mitigate impact Covid-19 and make reasonable allowances for mitigating wildfire smoke impact and elevated global warming peak summer outdoor temperatures.
