EXTRA-71326 - USA (San Antonio, Texas) - Benefit Pension and Other Post Employment Benefits Actuary Services - Deadline July 30,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide benefit pension and other post–employment benefits actuary services to the government authority located in San Antonio, TX. – Retirement Plan Annual:• Prepare an annual report (Annual Actuarial Valuation and Benefits Ledgers) specifying an actuarially determined contribution, expressed as a dollar amount and a percentage of payroll, necessary to maintain the Plan in sound actuarial condition and the amount required from the Plan to cover the expenses necessary in connection with the administration and operation of the retirement plan.– Retirement Plan Ancillary and Supplemental:• Provide consultation and advisory service on any technical, policy, or administrative issues arising during the course of the operation of the plan and affairs of the plan administrator and board committee.• Services will be billed at the same consultant’s billing rate as reflected on the price proposal for the annual actuarial valuation report.• As needed, review the summary plan description for benefit changes and laws, rules and regulations.• Conduct actuarial reviews of disability benefit calculations, evaluate the underlying data and rules determining a participant's basis of disability recovery, and assess the financial impact of disability retirement and reinstatement trends on the plan.– Other Post–Employment Benefits (OPEB):• Conduct an annual OPEB (Other Post–Employment Benefits) actuarial valuation as required to disclose retiree benefit liabilities.• Full actuarial valuation is performed every other year, with an interim roll–forward valuation the following year.• OPEB actuarial valuation process includes additional reporting of a Budget Forecast and a 30– Year Projection.• Actuarial valuation report providing information regarding the funding cost of OPEB, the service provider will provide separate report with the financial information necessary.(2) The contract period will be for five years. (3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on June 23, 2026. (4) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 30, 2026.
