(1) Vendor needs to provide employee ancillary benefits insurance broker services to the government authority located in Montebello, CA.– Strategic Benefits Consulting & Planning: consultant shall provide comprehensive strategic benefits consulting and planning services, including reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness, competitiveness, sustainability, and administration of the City’s existing ancillary benefits programs.– Services shall include identifying and recommending cost–containment strategies, alternative funding structures, plan design modifications, and administrative efficiencies to support long–term program sustainability.– Analytics, Reporting & Financial Review: consultant shall provide analytics, reporting, and financial review services related to the City’s ancillary benefits programs– Procurement, Marketing & Renewals: coordinate and manage annual renewals for ancillary benefit programs and represent the City in negotiations with carriers and vendors regarding premiums, plan design, fees, service guarantees, contract terms, and administrative performance standards– Benefits Administration Support: consultant shall provide ongoing ancillary benefits administration support to the City, including assisting employees, retirees, and staff with claims disputes, billing issues, eligibility problems, provider concerns, and escalated service matters(2) All questions must be submitted no later than July 7, 2026.
