– Vendor needs to provide marketing and event coordination service.– Secure and coordinate media coverage for special events, write promotional articles about the history of the park for local and state publications, issue press releases.– Produce events listed in the annual special events calendar with the assistance of the Supervisor, including, but not limited to, designing an event map, scheduling musicians, exhibitors, police, EMT, volunteers, re–enactors, craftsman, vendors, equipment.– Maintain an on–site schedule approved by the supervisor of 4–6 hours per week, with more hours on site the week of an event.– Take photographs during special events to create social media posts throughout event.– Circulate event information and update all pertinent community special events calendars.– Providing special event, marketing, and public relations services.– Maintain email list and distribute E–mail flyers for special events.– Identify and onboard community partners and local vendors for special events.
