Description

The County owns and operates an Industrial Water Treatment Plant (IWTP) located within the Bridgeway Acre Landfill. The plant treats runoff water in Pond A to supply water at the Waste-to-Energy Plant’s cooling towers. Currently, the intake pump systems in Pond A do not operate at full design capacity as well as meeting their Lifespan, causing multiple disruption to the water treatment operation. This project is to install new intake pump systems with safety upgrades to the pump station.
