(1) Vendor needs to provide workers compensation third party administrator service. – Provide claim management services for workers’ compensation.– Claims for review, typically based on claim complexity, litigation status, paid–to–incurred ratios, age of claim, outstanding reserves and incurred value, and other unique claim characteristics as deemed appropriate by the city and the city’s broker of record.– Third Party Administrator (TPA) to manage all claims utilizing a best practice approach in resolving each claim.– TPA must have the capability to accept claim reports 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and have immediate responses when requested.– investigations are necessary to document and protect evidence to determine compensability.– TPA adjusters to establish an action plan upon receipt of a claim and continually update the plan to resolve the claim in the most effective manner.– Investigation standards, including statements, evidence collection, and medical reviews. – Medical and disability management workflows.– Litigation management strategy.– Real‑time communication protocols with city risk management.– Ability to integrate with city HR and payroll systems.– Data mapping, validation, and transfer procedures.– Claim setup and assignment.– Investigation and compensability and liability.(2) The contract period will be for one year. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 8, 2026.
