Description
Washington State will distribute roughly $1.2 billion in BEAD funds over the next five years. The County is looking for a consultant who can help Pierce County coordinate projects and apply for these funds during the 2024/2025 funding period. If successful, these funds could bring an essential service to nearly 14,000 homes within unincorporated Pierce County that are underserved or unserved under the FCC definition of Broadband. The County has allocated a maximum of $125,000 for the awarded contract.
