Motor Control Center for Pure Water AV Demonstration Facility
Palmdale Water District / Engineering
Description
The Palmdale Water District (PWD or OWNER) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide motor control center (MCC) equipment for the District’s Pure Water Demonstration Facility. The submitted bids must include pricing for two options, a single combined MCC or two MCCs for the Advanced Water Treatment area and the Brine Management area for the Pure Water Demonstration Facility as described in the quoting instructions. The District intends to select one of the options after bids are received and evaluated and enter into a contract for the supply of that equipment. The MCC equipment will be installed by a construction contractor at the Demonstration Facility as part of a separate construction contract. The Demonstration Facility construction bid solicitation is expected to be released this winter and has a groundbreaking in the Spring of 2024. The expectation is to have the MCC delivered in time for installation in the Demonstration Facility by January 2025 or sooner.
