CONSULTANT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTIONS SERVICES FOR MANCHESTER LANDFILL MSE BERM WALL - PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION OVERSIGHT

The Town of Manchester is soliciting requests for qualifications for consultant construction engineering and inspections services related to the Manchester Landfill MSE Berm Wall – Phase 1 construction project. Work associated with the project includes: Clear and grub approximately 8 acres of mixed vegetation within work area, preparation of berm subgrade to including relocation of 15,360 CY existing waste to active working face, construction of an approximately 35’ tall by 900 long mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) berm with applicable geosynthetic reinforcement (~65,725 CY Soil), storm water improvements to include perimeter swale relocations, termination swales, diversion berms, and supply and install of a storm water down chute structure, and access road construction and miscellaneous site work and related items. The construction project is currently advertised for bidding. Construction work is expected to begin in Spring 2023 and be complete in Summer 2024 with a winter shut down period.
