Category 2 Firewall Equipment for e-Rate Funding Year 2023-24

This Invitation For Bid (IFB) is for Category 2 firewall equipment and associated subscription licensing needed to upgrade and expand the District’s current firewall capabilities. There are no installation requirements for this solicitation. Tucson Unified School District has dramatically increased network traffic with the addition of a student 1-to-1 program that provides a mobile device for each student, as well as for each teacher and administrator. The purchase of this equipment will support the expansion of the firewall capabilities for current and future traffic security. A purchase order will be issued to the most responsive, responsible bidder after July 1, 2023, however TUSD will enter into a best and final contract when the IFB is awarded.
