CATEGORY 2 FIREWALL EQUIPMENT FOR E-RATE FUNDING YEAR FY24/25

This Invitation For Bid (IFB) is for Category 2 firewall and network equipment, including associated subscription licensing needed to upgrade and expand the District’s current firewall and network capabilities. There are no installation requirements for this solicitation. Tucson Unified School District has dramatically increased network traffic with the addition of a student 1-to-1 program that provides a mobile device for each student, as well as for each teacher and administrator. The purchase of this equipment will support the expansion of the firewall capabilities for current and future traffic security as well as provide needed equipment to expand and upgrade WAN capabilities for enhanced growth up to 50GB. A purchase order will be issued to the most responsive, responsible bidder after July 1, 2024, however TUSD will enter into a best and final contract when the IFB is awarded.
