Emergency Resource Family Homes

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to define the County's minimum requirements, solicit proposals, and gain adequate information by which the County may evaluate the services offered by Proposers that fall within the scope of service as further described in Section (3) of this RFP. The County of Solano, Department of Health & Social Services, Child Welfare Services (CWS) Division, hereinafter referred to as the “County,” intends to secure a contract with a qualified proposer to provide Emergency Resource Family Care Services designed to care for children, ages 0-17 who require a supportive environment while Solano County staff explore placement options. This service is developed to assist the County in providing safety, permanency, and well-being to youth in need of short-term placement or emergency placement during disruption to allow County staff time to seek the best long-term placement option for youth in care.
