Project Description: The Project renovates interior space on Level 2 of the Central Branch to office and mixed-use work spaces to support the shelving and operations team (SHO). On Levels 1 and 3, the work will refinish and renovate the existing reception desks in addition to build-out of an enclosed book drop room on Level 1 to replace the defunct book conveyor system. Scope includes but is not limited to: modification of existing electrical, mechanical, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems; construction of new framed walls; installation of suspended ceiling systems; interior finishes; casework modification and fabrication; modification of exterior storefront; and supporting work as indicated in the Contract Documents.
