STAFF-16173 - USA (Montpelier, Vermont) - Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act Director Services - Deadline July 6,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide clinical laboratory improvement act director services to the government authority located in Montpelier, VT.– CLIA director, if qualified, may perform the duties of the technical supervisor, clinical consultant, general supervisor, and testing personnel, or delegate these responsibilities to personnel meeting the qualifications under Secs.– CLIA director reapportions performance of his or her responsibilities, he or she remains responsible for ensuring that all duties are properly performed.– CLIA director must be accessible to the laboratory to provide onsite, telephone or electronic consultation as needed.– Each individual may direct no more than five laboratories.– Ensure that testing systems developed and used for each of the tests performed in the laboratory provide quality laboratory services for all aspects of test performance, which includes the preanalytical, analytic, and postanalytical phases of testing.– Ensure that the physical plant and environmental conditions of the laboratory are appropriate for the testing performed and provide a safe environment in which employees are protected from physical, chemical, and biological hazards.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 19, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for five years.
