Professional Environmental Testing Services RFP

The City of Pontiac is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to hire a qualified professional archaeological consultant and/or architectural historian to conduct environmental testing services across various properties within the City. The scope of work will include assessments related to historic preservation as well as properties without historical significance. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act where applicable. The selected professional will be responsible for: Conducting archaeological and/or historic property reviews, Preparing environmental review reports, Assisting with compliance documentation to satisfy HUD requirements, Supporting the City’s efforts to meet environmental review standards for redevelopment projects.
