EXTRA-73480 - USA (Chicago, Illinois) - Implement Evidence-Based, School-Based Group Mentoring Services - Deadline July 31,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide implement evidence–based, school–based group mentoring services to the government authority located in Chicago, IL.– Provide group–based mentoring support to 1,200 youth at about 30 CPS schools and develop opportunities to foster sense of belonging and connectedness– In the long term, group mentoring is expected to promote a sense of safety, foster a positive relationship with a caring adult, inform positive decision–making, and enhance social capital.– School–Based Group Mentoring is a cohort–based, relationship–driven mentoring model delivered within a school environment.– Youth participate in consistent, small groups led by trained adult mentors who facilitate structured, youth–centered sessions focused on belonging, identity, decision–making, socialemotional development, and school connectedness.– Groups of 8–10 youth meet regularly with the same mentor(s) in a consistent school–based setting, follow a structured session format that includes checkins, activities, and reflection, and youth actively shape discussions, activities, and group norms.– Program Coordinator: We strongly urge hiring a full–time staff person who can manage thegroups of youth and mentors. The Coordinator’s key functions are:o Recruit and enroll mentors and eligible youth participants effectively.o Develop and implement individualized strategies to sustain consistent youthengagement over time, in collaboration with mentors, parents or guardians asappropriate.o Participate in continuous improvement sessions with agency to review data, monitorprogress, and assess youth outcomes.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
