Residential treatment services are a part of a continuum of care modeled after the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria for SUD services. Residential treatment services (ASAM level of care [LOC] 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.5) shall provide treatment in a residential setting that includes clinically managed withdrawal management services, individual counseling, psycho-educational groups, educational groups, psychiatric services, to manage mental health disorders, care coordination, family therapy and other ancillary services.
