Fairmont Park Drainage Improvements

The City of New Haven’s Engineering Department is seeking bids to enhance the drainage system of the baseball field located in Fairmont Park. This project aims to address the persistent waterlogging issues that hinder the playability of the field. By constructing an efficient drainage system, the project seeks to ensure that the field remains dry and accessible, thereby extending its usability for the community and local sports teams. The scope of the project includes the installation of roughly 150 ft of sub-surface drainage pipes and a beehive grate catch basin to effectively manage water. Additionally, the project will involve minimal disruption to the existing landscape and will ensure any disturbed areas are restored.
