Brief Description: CRASH SERVICES AT ORL. The Operations and Use Agreement between the Aviation Authority and the City of Orlando was amended in January 24, removing the requirement that the City provide crash services to ORL. Estimated Value: $248,900.00 Term (Years): One Year Vendor: Rural Metro Justification: Internet searches and consultation with GOAA ARFF staff found only one other vendor capable of providing this service, which would be at a higher cost to GOAA. This procurement is a trial period for a proof of concept. Being a local entity, Rural Metro is able to staff the position within eight weeks, which satisfies the time-sensitive nature of this procurement.
