Microtransit Service Pilot Program

The City of Sugar Land is soliciting proposals from qualified mobility service and technology providers to operate on-demand microtransit transportation services in Sugar Land. A fully turnkey solution is mandatory, and proposals should include provisions for the necessary software application/platform, vehicles, data & performance metrics, drivers, operations, marketing, and other elements as more fully described herein. The proposed transportation service will serve the general public and cover a smaller service area zone of approximately 18 square miles within the city limits. The service will be a pilot program and will operate for three (3) years with an option to continue with the selected vendor if successful and as additional funding becomes available. The City anticipates beginning the new service contract this fall.
