(1) Vendor needs to provide outside legal counsel services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.– Support in reviewing contested disability classifications, safeguarding procedural integrity, and advising on policy–level improvements.– The selected provider will conduct rigorous legal analysis and case review.– Preside over administrative hearings related to PD 42 appeals. – Conducting comprehensive case reviews in alignment with applicable case law. – Providing strategic recommendations to leadership on emerging trends, legal risks, and potential policy refinements related to determinations and disability classifications. – Submitting a detailed fee schedule outlining costs for case review, research, and written recommendations. – Evaluating processes and requirements for developing case recommendations. – Providing ongoing case updates throughout the process.
