(1) Vendor needs to provide EMA laboratory and sampling services to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.– Laboratory services for DNA and RNA preparation and molecular analysis of cyanobacterial mat samples using droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) and reverse transcription droplet digital PCR (RT–ddPCR).• Inspect samples upon receipt and notify the Government of any damaged, missing, mislabeled, compromised, or otherwise nonconforming samples.• Extract DNA and/or RNA from submitted cyanobacterial mat biomass samples, as directed by the Government.• Use laboratory methods appropriate for cyanobacterial mat biomass and cyanotoxin gene analysis.• Document extraction methods, assay methods, controls, quality–control results, limitations, deviations, and corrective actions.• Archive remaining DNA and RNA extracts for potential future Government–directed analysis, unless otherwise directed by the Contracting Officer.
