Request for Information for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Services

General work description: The County of Orange (County) is seeking information pursuant to this Request for Information (RFI) from your organization to support in the development of the County’s Request for Proposal for Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Services. The responses to this RFI will not constitute an offer for contract with the County and will be solely used by the County to obtain information from providers on service approaches (programmatic operations) providing IOP and PHP program services. The Medi-Cal Billing Manual describes these services as Day Treatment Intensive. Information is specifically sought for the provision of Day Treatment Intensive services within these IOP and PHP programs. Day Treatment Intensive is a structured, multi-disciplinary program which provides services to a distinct group of individuals. Day treatment intensive is intended to provide an alternative to hospitalization, avoid placement in a more restrictive setting, or assist the beneficiary in living within a community setting. Services are available for at least three hours each day. Day treatment intensive is a program that lasts less than 24 hours 30 each day. Day treatment intensive may include contact with significant support persons or other collaterals if the purpose of their participation is to focus on the treatment of the beneficiary.
