Professional Planning Services for the Greenwood County Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update

Greenwood County, South Carolina, is seeking statements of qualifications from experienced professional planning and consulting firms to assist in the preparation of the County’s next Comprehensive Land Use Plan . This plan will guide growth, development, infrastructure planning, and policy decisions within Greenwood County over the next ten years. The Comprehensive Plan will serve as an integrated and internally consistent framework of policies for future growth and development within the County and its incorporated municipalities. The plan must comply with the South Carolina Comprehensive Planning Enabling Act of 1994 and the requirements outlined in South Carolina Code of Laws Section 6-29-510 , as amended. The selected consultant will work closely with County staff, elected officials, community stakeholders, and the public to prepare a forward-looking plan that reflects Greenwood County’s vision for growth while preserving its natural resources, economic vitality, and community character.
