Boone’s Landing Marina – Boat Dock System & Kayak Launch Improvements

Boone County Fiscal Court, through Boone County Parks & Recreation (BCPR), is soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFP) from qualified marine construction contractors for the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of new public boat docks and an ADA-accessible kayak launch system at Boone’s Landing Marina. Boone’s Landing is a publicly owned and operated marina on the Ohio River serving recreational boaters, anglers, paddlers, and special events. The intent of this project is to modernize marina infrastructure, improve safety and durability, and expand inclusive access to non-motorized watercraft. This RFP consolidates scope elements informed by recent vendor proposals and County planning documents into a single, competitive procurement. Contractors may propose equivalent or superior systems provided all functional, safety, and durability requirements are met.
