TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – LINCOLN STREET (ROUTE 3A)

The Town of Higham Department of Public Works invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Transportation Improvement Project – Lincoln Street (Route 3A) in Hingham, Massachusetts, in accordance with documents prepared by Vanasse & Associates, Inc. The project consists of approximately 200 feet of sidewalk reconstruction on Lincoln Street (Route 3A) and installation of emergency preemption traffic signal, in the Town of Hingham, Massachusetts. The work includes unclassified excavation, drainage system modifications, granite curb and edging, cement concrete sidewalk, hot mix asphalt sidewalk, cement concrete driveway aprons, traffic signal system installation, pavement markings, signs, landscaping, and other incidental work. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30§39 & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
