Description
The County of Greenville is seeking proposals from experienced firms to provide Scrap Metal Processing Services. In accordance with the Scope of Work specified in this Request for Proposals (RFP) the services needed is for metal recycling at the Twin Chimneys Landfill. Services should include but not be limited to loading and removal of scrap within one week of being notified by Greenville County. The successful firm will be required to meet all State and Federal Regulatory Fees. Greenville County collects appliances and other materials made of metal at Twin Chimneys Landfill located at 11075 Augusta Road, Greenville, SC 29654. The average collection is 2,500 tons per year. The site is accessed by all weather roads and the material is collected on a concrete pad. The facility can be accessed Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
