Scrap Metal Collection Services

The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking a responsible vendor to provide scrap metal collection, transportation, and recycling from facilities around the City of Norfolk on an as-needed basis according to the terms, conditions, and specifications of this solicitation. All qualified bidders are invited to respond to this Invitation for Bid (“IFB”) by submitting a bid consistent with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated herein. The Contractor shall provide thirty (30) yard roll-off containers to various City facilities for the collection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals on an as-needed basis. Contractor shall pick up filled containers and deliver a replacement container within forty-eight (48) hours. All containers must meet all applicable standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”), and must be maintained in a sanitary condition.
