COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN AND ZONING PLAN UPDATE

The County of Shasta, through its Department of Support Services, Purchasing Unit, invites responses to a Request for Information (RFI) for high quality, creative, and innovative comprehensive General Plan and Zoning Plan updates for Shasta County. The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified land use and planning consultants interested in partnering with Shasta County in this endeavor. This RFI seeks to identify and establish a pool of qualified consultants interested in partnering with the County to develop and prepare comprehensive General Plan and Zoning Plan updates, including specific plans for up to seven (7) areas within the County, and preparation of associated environmental analysis and documentation pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Through this RFI, the County seeks input on updating the existing General Plan and Zoning Plan and invites experienced consultants to propose a general scope of work, estimated cost, and timeline for completing comprehensive General Plan and Zoning Plan updates, including specific plans for up to seven (7) areas within the County.
